Love that one but I will probably never read it again because of how mentally draining it is. Very hard read because of how realistic Jeremy's trauma and struggle to overcome it is depicted.
Me too. I can never read it again but it is something linger in your mind even after years. At least that happened to me. And on the other note, I hated the mom more than the step dad. She was the most cruel in that story. I hated her soo much that I wanted to grab her hair and dipped into the toilet water. LOL!!!
Also, there was a guy Jeremy later met when he ran away. I felt sorry for that guy, how he was raped and sexed continuously that his hole couldn’t close up and he had to wear diaper. And later died from an infection. Such a horrible death.
My heart dropped when we found out that she knew all along and did nothing. It really mirrors real experiences from survivors who say that it's not only the SA but also the response from ppl around them that hurts.
Yeah, also read it years ago and I had to take a long break from all manga afterwards. One of the few reads that truly messed with my head

This the first and only manga (up until now) where I felt sick to my stomach by in ever chapter while reading it. Every chapter was sicking to me. I cried so much for the MC. Still to these day I feel sad for him.
