there's not even been ten chapters released yet. having the majority of the plot and details spoiled within the first month of chapters is ridiculous. if you want to read spoilers to see if he'll meet your standards you're allowed to do so but don't spoil it for the ones just wanting to read it as it happens.

I've been on the Internet since 2005. it used to be common sense to not spoil things or at least idk use the feature on this site that literally hides spoilers. I should be able to engage in comments of a brand new manwha about the current chapters without having the entire series spoiled within the first month.
I am caught up... with the 8 chapters we have rn. there shouldn't be open discussions about chapters that haven't happened yet

You are so far of that i don't even know why you mentioned that this is just fiction. Dracula is bad and people portrayed him as such, I'm too saying the ml is bad but here you are saying his not, because why would you be against my opinion if you didn't think that whatever the ml has done is fine. He is fictional but your opinion is not. The difference is that he is supposed to be the ML who saves her from her miserable life when he actually is the same as the one that hurt her. Can't I say that he is terrible? Can't I say that his ways are dumb? Can't I say his thinking is dumb? Because he is. The story is build to make you think he is her savior so when that doesn't turn out like that what do you do, despise the story itself and the one that made it, simple as that.

In a work of fiction? Yes you can write about anything lol. And as a rape victim both as an adult and a child, I have zero issues with it being used in literature. Bc again. It's fiction. You can't expect characters to always be angels. Then there'd be no real plot or conflict. If you don't want to read a story with conflicts stay with Disney channel ig?

i mean sure — enjoy rape content, i guess LMFAO. but don’t act like it’s morally neutral or that people criticizing it are the weird ones.
if your idea of “good storytelling” depends on non-consensual sex, that’s not just a writing choice — that’s a pattern worth questioning.
fiction may not be real, but the way people defend these themes like it’s no big deal? that says a lot. enjoy justifying rapists characters because they're just 'fiction' anyway. live, laugh, love rapist characters.

Did I say I enjoy rape? No. I actually do avoid rape in a lot of media. But I'm not going to say it cannot exist in storytelling. It obviously should be handled correctly as well. But that doesn't mean a work of fiction is something that should be banned just bc it has content you don't enjoy. Bc then you're a step away from book burning.
Some of the greatest works of fiction have rape or "immoral" scenes. They still are wonderful works of fiction with a lesson.
I am not justifying a characters actions. I'm just saying that just bc a character is immoral or does something disgusting. Doesn't mean the entire story is evil. The point of characters doing something wrong is to show some kind of growth. Whether it's forward or backwards.
And someone enjoying a story about bad people doesn't make them a bad person.
Because it's just a story.
There was so much rape in the Bible. You want to ban that too?

LMFAOOOO, bro pulled out the bible to defend fictional rape scenes we're not banning anything, we’re literally just critiquing how it's used — especially when it's constant, romanticized, or lazy storytelling, LOL. no one's saying every story with a bad character is evil. we’re saying if rape is used as a plot device over and over in genres like shojou-romance or bl — especially when it’s never taken seriously — then it’s not “thought-provoking,” it’s just overused and harmful. and yeah, people can read whatever they want, but when someone defends rape scenes like they’re necessary for good writing, it says more about their standards than anything else. nobody's book-burning here. we're just asking you to hold fiction to the same standards you hold your own tweets to: if you wouldn't say it out loud without backlash, maybe don’t act like it’s untouchable just because it's in a manga/manhwa. bro's defending a rapist character too much atp. lol, go touch some grass. the bar is in hell.
can we stop spoiling shit before it even has 10 chapters out? most of the time y'all are wrong or just parroting something you saw someone else say in a tik Tok comment section that was a kid misunderstanding the themes of a story.
how about we just let the story progress and read it as it develops
