To be fair, I'd also act crazy, if everytime I walked past a room, there'd be someone gossiping about how my partner lives there ex. At this point it's no one's fault, but the universe and stupid plot convenience
I mean it's pretty valid, he just wanted to sort his feelings out and he made his mind up to talk to him literally the next day. So it wasn't like he was gonna drag it out. He had a horrible day hearing all this shit abt the ex. I don't think he wanted to hear any more for the rest of the day, hence why he didn't want to listen to ash talk about it.
right, I think its absolutely valid I understand that Lyle should've talked it out with him but it's not his fault when Ash started it by hiding a secret of such severity. Plus anyone would need time after finding out something like that not even from your own significant other but from overhearing them telling others to keep it a secret.

Lyle locked ash out, slapped him and pushed him when Ash asked to talk it out and let him explain the truth and yall are out here calling Ash a toxic partner when it was his friends gossiping and NOT him. Lyle even heard Ash ask his friends not to talk about it anymore and hes still acting like this! It doesnt matter how insecure, and anxious he may be they have been together long enough for Lyle to seek out therapy (this is a bl so i know thats rare!) to help him get over it now. I love them both but im not gonna defend and baby Lyle for lashing out like this
