Pretty sure he said it was their great grandfather or something. Though I can understand the other issues.
I don't think there is anyone from the future that's in the past, it just major key figures that were recorded in history known for their astute thinking, inventions and those who amounted great wealth at that time. He does mention having a friend in the future who bragged about his great grandfather. The great grandfather was one of those key figures which is the farmer in Hawaii farming rice.

yall are liars!!!! this is so bad and that’s big coming from me. i still don’t understand how the people he knew from the future are there with him in the past ???? the story is moving quickly which is fine but it’s so choppy.
