First of all whys everyone talking about a name, I didn’t notice ml having a name anywhere and if y’all mean “sucheol” that’s the guy they’re tryna impersonate in their mafia schemes, not his name
but okay this gave me more complicated feelings than the standard mafia X young guy trope cause ml really didn’t do anything to mc other than making him popsicle boy a bit at first, and at the end the SA scene before they parted like he actually has some conscience in weird ways, and even the SA scene is complicated cause he was deliberately tryna be an asshole so for mc there wouldn’t be any lingering attachment cause any less than that and mc might’ve not let him go etc but like still… oof….
I feel like mc gets that too but it’s also mixed feelings, like he knew they’re not good guys but also it was out of sight out of mind and he could delude himself into thinking if they’re so nice to him and grannies they must not be REAL bad in whatever they’re mixed up in but finally seeing them in action hit hard seeing them as the bad guys parallel to all the bad guys that were after him in the past, it all hit him all at once, even so he’s angry at ml but also the trauma isn’t just about the SA, I’d say it’s probably even less about it and more about the whole situation, cause even before he could tell ml likes him too, and he can tell it’s still the case cause he’s still tryna be nice and telling him to prepare for exams etc, he can tell the harshness towards him is artificial and on purpose, it doesn’t stop the SA from having zero effect on him but it’s the reason why he doesn’t have a typical “I want nothing to do with my abuser” reaction, why he still cares about him to wish for him to get out of crime and for him to look forward to meeting on equal terms in the future as two adults etc
But i hope the trauma and touch phobia aren’t magically cured just cause ml is the one that caused it and meeting him again magically cures it, i want proper slow development on that and also for it not to disappear before they get together again, i want ml knowing about it and feeling like shit about it all c: AND ACTUAL SLOW DEVELOPMENT ON THE RELATIONSHIP NOW not just getting caught up in passion again
But let me guess, in the end mc is gonna get caught up in the big mafia schemes and be in real danger again… also I can’t tell what the pink hair is supposed to be,,, just a bully? Somewhere on the real villain side? A second ml? A future friend? What is he and whys he apparently more or less acting like he’s respecting the no touch rule to the point of pulling back his own goons from bothering mc?
But like sure they have a long way to go in the plot but the dynamic and mutual care between mc and ml is nice to see
