This story frustrates me because on the one hand Cheon Je-hwa is incredibly annoying the way he's treating the MC is frustrating but I also like her it like I think the writer did a good job of showing us both his personality where he's coming from and also how immature he is Jaewha is acting like a teenager in his first relationship with someone he really likes because well he is this is the first person he's ever liked he's someone with an already incredibly abrasive and up front personality while also being cursed to never fully explain himself and he gets attached really easily and to him based on what he said that night was important not just cause he likes him but because we can see that Jaewha places a lot of importance and value in intimate relationships like this we can see that with the way he reacts to his friend just liking someone else or how he straight up says "I will never sleep with anyone else ever again" like that night and those types of relationships are clearly things he values a lot and part of what's getting lost in translation is the fact that he's is also a pretty aggressive personality so it doesn't come if as if he's a romantic that he is but you can see it in the ridiculously clumsy and immature way he's handling the entire situation making incredibly snap and impulsive decisions not understanding just how being drunk seems to work (he seems to have not even considered the idea that maybe Seonwoong is a black out drunk which is stupid yes but also reminds me of something a child or someone who rarely if ever drinks would assume) putting everything single interaction he has with Seonwoong on a pedestal or overthinking it getting jealous over the most petty stuff and jumping to wild conclusions in a panic it's all very much like a teenager in their very first relationship and if Seonwoong were a different person I think it would be something he very organically grew out of none of these traits are good but they are just kinda things experience helps kids grow out of however Seonwoong is kinda of the worst type of person he could of fallen for and that's not me like complaining about him as a person that's me saying they're both vastly different people with vastly different understandings of the situation Seonwoong is someone who prioritizes the well being of others over himself however also he's someone who centers his own interpretation of events over others and a lot of that is probably trauma he's been through a lot but some of it is kinda the worst kind of paternalism where you assume by virtue of your good intentions that you know what's best for someone and that's actually a very frustrating person to be around because any genuine attempts at connection unintentionally get thrown back in your face the moment they decide that actually you're better off without them striping you of any chance to make your own decisions or express your own feelings about a situation and he does this to Jeawha like a lot and I can very easily understand why he's frustrated by this but also Jaewha is not sharing all the information that would explain why he's so clingy because I don't think he's realized he has to again like a kid where you sort of expect the people around you to read your mind and get annoyed when their guess is wrong but instead of correcting them you sinner in your annoyance it's all very immature this entire thing but idk I think the way the problems are so specific to their personalities is actually pretty interesting it makes me wonder if the writer will satisfy the problems in a satisfying way maybe maybe not either way at the moment solid 3.5
