
I can see get some off feelings because Guwon looks and act strange and at times intimidating but from everything shown everyone in the town is equal and the kids (like animals a great litmus test for vibes) love him.
I think the towns folk are scared of him because he’s capable of extreme violence and unflinching when faced with morally questionable decisions.
Guwon strikes me as someone who is a survival at all costs kinda of man. He will leave you behind in the field if you aren’t valuable to the flock….he’ll turn away starving outsiders to preserve the community. In a regular circumstance he’d be crazy but in the apocalypse he’s conducting himself in a way that meets the moment.
Like what’s the tone here? It’s so off. You’ve got this terrifying looking guy in this horrific post apocalyptic scene, with the most innocent love story playing out, in the midst of an authoritarian-ish safe heaven. It’s so weird
