Think about the other side though. It's not really easy for Ash to be with Lyle either. Lyle has his own issues he needs to work on, which is why this even turned into such a big issue anyway. Ash is trying to communicate, but Lyle is afraid.
I honestly like both of them. These are just things you have to work on in a relationship
True , ash still doesn't feel like a green flag to me but lyle does have his own set of issues
I genuinely feel like karlyle deserves better now
, if a relationship is going to come with this many extra problems ( messy and hidden past relationships , miscommunications , shitty friends ,etc) then i can't make myself think that this is worth it
