If you've ever owned a cat, at some point it will lick you, your hand, your arm, and sometimes even on your face - the tongue is harsh and unpleasant. They use it to groom their fur after all, so it's like s tiny scrapy brush. That's how I know how a tongue with barbs could feel like. Weirdo.
