(Potential spoiler with the speculation at the end)

I kind of wished the manhwa kept the pacing of the novel because how the characters interact with each other seems to have more depth.

It is particularly obvious with Ran's arc, I was curious when Ran was going to be hired as the 4th retainer but the timing is completely switched with this one... (it happens far earlier and the situation is expanded even more) Eyra isn't the one doing the main investigation, but his other retainer who wants him to rest. His arc is heavy on the aspect of gaining trust and I loved seeing the dynamics Eyra had with them since building a successful estate isn't a lone effort. Plus, it was really great to see Eyra able to succeed and his loyalty despite being forced into the situation really shined in the source

I started noticing it even more in the most recent chapter because I don't remember seeing that "become my mistress" interaction in the MTL novel haha... Funny change but I think I may have a hunch who this is...

Yea... a shame. It's even more obvious during the fight because the novel spent such a long time explaining the battle and how Eyra made preparations long before he started dating Yanu. His smarts doesn't get to shine as much as it should have here.

I think the manhwa loses quite a bit of the essence that made the novel so charming. I'll still read it but oh well

I agree with you, although I think it has it's own kind of charm. I do admit a lot of the cutting does feel disjointed at times. The fight was the biggest offender, but I don't think people realize how much these two really have sex, or what some of the dreams Eyra has is supposed to mean. I already know the Mate talk or explanation might be simplified and I'm curious if they'll even include how dragons got/have their names. D-Day will most likely be abridged as well because a lot happens there.
