i thought this, then i reread. It felt very obvious how they did love each other. obsession is far from what i would call it tbh… yes lyle is insecure and he needs to work on that, but so far it seems like a natural relationship lol. It will all depend on how the author progresses the story— i don’t understand how you can think it’s not love.

Maybe i need to re-read it to feel their love. Maybe i dont like how it start with love at first sight and physical relationship they start with. It make the foundation of their love seem unstable to be call love like i cant seem to picture them loving each other untill the end. The moment they seperate and the way they come to date each other feel a bit like lacking something i dont know
I don't really feel any chemistry between them , i dont know how to say. Like it's more on obsession and insecurity rather than yearn , love or bond. Im not sure
