Although the rent system in korea is very unique, if I remember correctly the most common way is to pay a big chunk of money in full and you get your money back after you move out
So im guessing Jk went for that and that's why he confidently said he'll get it all back
On a serious note please do not go on emptying your SAVINGS account for when you're older like that is sooo wrong because you'll probably use it on useless stuff and when ur older your regret the money u wasted it on (⊙…⊙ )
