Through out this whole manhwa you literally see how lyle is insecure about his own presence. And just when he tried to make up his mind, Ash came & he got nervous which is understandable. I would have done the same (because I can relate to his as an insecure person). Also, the other guy being omega just amplify the insecurity.
Lyle can listen to all the bullshit that ash's ugly ass friends have to say but can't listen to ash himself
