It's 2nd life for both. Seme wws utter grade-A trash in the first life and uke alived himself. they both got a 2nd chance but only seme remembers, so he is trying to make up for the past. If they bond they will share ALL memories, which he doesn't want ,but uke keeps getting flashbacks. It's still gonna take a LONG time before he completely remembers, then gets pissed and leaves, then the final reconciliation.
It's like 470 chapters of fillers for a 30 chapter story.
