    Yeah, I'm also anticipating that. The rag that he thought was used up, old and no longer useful. I want to see the look on his face when that same rag is washed and looking brand new again but in someone else's arms. I want to see the pain and regret in his eyes.

    It's just a metaphor, like when people say one man's trash is another's treasure or one man's poison is another's cure. Why would I refer to her as a rag when she's not?

    didn't mean to trigger your defenses. I have no knife so put the shield down. I really dun get your point though. whether it's listening to a real person's story or reading a fictional one's, you do it bc you connect to or feel for them right? the feelings a story, whether it happened or not, envoke in us are real. that's the way I see it.
