I'm honestly quite surprised. I tend to cringe excessively with those types of situations or be uncomfortable. Usually you would expect mc to not say anything in the end and harbor his feelings being all dramatic. I actually feel the katharsis coming through. I haven felt such ?healthiness? Actual good thinking? Sensibility? In a while. This just made me fall in love with mc all over again. Like I am now genuinely invested.

honestly that was a good conversation? pretending ml doesn't have feelings for mc, he really was kind and upfront with what he wanted, willing to compromise with mc because he cherished their connection with each other
