I have this dear sister of mine who used to read bl and even worse bl than what I read and now she kinda hate it so much that whenever she talks to me she asks with disgust in her face : are you still reading that shit ?! You know I like it so if someone hates on you bc of your preferences then they are just immature and ignorant. What you can do is actually defend yourself and confront her, do as I do I just say that I find my comfort in those works so if she can find me smth better I'm all ears.
