I think you're just frustrated. Battered wife syndrome ahh main character, I get it. Dan is the one suffering therefore he's the only one with an incentive to change the situation. So the only hope of it getting better rests on Dan, but he has such bad self esteem that he doesn't do anything significant. Super frustrating.
decided to read this cus i acc enjoyed bj alex. now i'm filled with instant regret. i hate dan so much. i have never felt this much anger towards a bl character before. he is an annoying ass twink and idc what happens to him. idc if horse face is abusive towards him. idc if his stupid grandmother dies. dropping this.
