I'm a bit... concerned. Bby gurl, how will you lead and be the head of your family if Perez becomes the next king and you guys end up together? It'd be a little disappointing for me if the author pulls a "Well they married for love but she does her own thing and he does his" and throws away all that importance they put on about carrying the family name and honoring and putting it above the rest for both the Lombardis and being a royal. Like, tossing away her role of being his empress or being by his side, or him throwing away his goals and desires to be crowned and get revenge etc just to watch her do her thing.
Both are romantic and sacrificial, but one would have to compromise and it hurts me to think either will have to make that choice and it hurts to think there's a possibility they'll just throw that out the window to make the romance happen. I dunno. I'm just waiting to see what happens.
