It's cute and undeserving of a 8.7 rating imo, but it has its flaws. The chemistry isn't bubbling with the main couple. The structure is there, the author thought about how their relationship would develop but couldn't execute it properly. The different encounters and scenarios end up not feeling significant, like overcomplicated excuses for a will they wont they situation. But that ain't working when the main couple's romantic feelings aren't elaborated on. Especially with dear captain commander (if you know: high five) over here his jealousy and attraction to MC just shows up. He does the romance things but we never get to see where it all comes from. In the first half he doesn't even do much besides scrowl/ignore/be petty with MC when he's jealous, which is coincidentally tragically unattractive to me ngl.
