I’m not sure the novel is still ongoing but I’m up to date with it and right now currently (spoilers if you wanna stop reading rn) ml faked fls death and has now isolated her in his palace. Fl begged ml for some entertainment like books because she felt like dying being alone and doing nothing since she’s weak and can’t move around as much and her window doesn’t face anything but ml finds some joy with the way fl is acting because then fl would only depend on ml and that’s what ml wants so now he thinks if no one visits her or if she has nothing to entertain herself with then fl would naturally depend on ml and seek him out

that’s kinda funny that you say that because when she was begging for entertainments she threatened to kill herself and ml was like do it you won’t and she in fact didn’t do it

IF THE STORY CONTINUES IN THE SAME PATH AS THE NOVEL THEN in the novel after this she’s gonna get poisoned and gets put into slumber for a week or more(I think) and while she’s in slumber ml punishes the people who poisoned fl and frees the 2 people that helped her escaped(I don’t rmbr their names sorry) THERES MORE INBETWEEN THE SCENES I JUST MENTIONED(like her talking to a god and confirming if she was the saint while she was in slumber) but I’m lazy to even explain more, someone posted the novel and where it left off so I suggest reading it!
