Also, gamblers are stinky, especially poker players and I only deal poker :( the B/O is fucking crazy with people who stayed there overnight, bad breath is crazy too. Live in canada so they stinky as fuck after smoking pot. Occasionally caught a wiff of someone smelling like shit and find out they've been playing for 40+ hours.
Also saw someone having a legit medical emergency right in front of me after playing for too long.
Yeah, as someone who works as a dealer for only 1 year, I see a lot of similarities. The players are assholes, can't help but be suspicious that some of them get their money in unsavoury ways. If you're a pretty face or even if your gender is just female, you'll get sexually harassed by the customers while your working(you can also use it to your favour by being equally crude and join in the jokes or flirt back, best way to earn more tips ig). The shit about you can't be personal with your customers is true too(but I break it all the time, it's pretty hard not to vibe, bosses also break it too)
Attractive people come and play too but my number 1 rule is to never date with a customer cus gamblers can either turn out to be gambling addicts, in huge amount of debt, cheaters(seen a lot of bragging), don't gaf about their family or they'll bring you to teach you how to gamble(saw this happen real time, gf turned into a heavy gambler. Really sad to watch)
