this manhwa is FILLED with misunderstandings that pile up and lead to serious consequences.
i really really pity sovieshu and rashta,, dont get me wrong theyre both horrible people, but it doesnt change the fact rashta was originally pure, sweet and kind but was led astray by corruption and misunderstandings that navier despised her (sure navier disliked rashta but i believed that in different circumstances they would have gotten along well)
sovieshu as written in his daily logs clearly didnt have feelings for rashta but instead was stubborn and arrogant, his misunderstandings for "caring" for rashta was what led navier to believe he no longer loved her and abandoned her. until now shes under that impression that sovieshu loves rashta and left her for it.
i believe if sovieshu and navier took the time to talk things out, they wouldntve divorced and wouldve worked their way around rashta. even now theres another misunderstanding that sovieshu came to the western empire not because he wanted to apologise but that he had "hidden intentions"
im love that navier is happier with heinrey but i just wanted to point out how this story wouldve gone entirely different if there was just some communication for once.
