In the og story, Eunwoo (2nd ML) donates his organ to the brother so ogFL can be happy then he dies
And it’s not like he was incompetent either. He just started neglecting all aspects of his life besides Seori. Then literally EVERYTHING goes to hell and he finds out he has cancer to top it all off. Not to mention he wakes up in the hospital and goes “why would I do that” when he finds out he broke off his other engagement. Which makes you wonder if Seori was manipulating him the entire time ir if she really did love him at one point. But every single safe space that man had was taken away. His family still lives home but I know that he feels so isolated and lost at this point ╥﹏╥
I think she did love him, but the moment she got the taste of being a wealthy heiress, her greed took over her love for Yebin. The plot doesn’t really control her complete but rather feeds into her greed.
Even if he still lives with his family and they still love him that’s literally all he has like he can’t inherit anything and he lost his job I’m sure he been working towards all his life like dear lord
It took me this long to realize that auto correct messed up that sentence when I made the comment while sleep deprived. I was originally trying to say that his family still loves him and will stand by him regardless but that’s an experience that’s going to feel absolutely isolating and horrible. I’m hoping that he will make a recovery and maybe become the vice president or something once he is back to being able to work
I remember reading a spoiler where in the end Yebin was barely mentioned, he was recovering from his surgery. In the end, the world started turning black before, fl and ml ended up back in the real world and they met up with each other. Apparently there was a side story/alternator ending where instead of the novel world fading into nothing, after the fl and ml return to their world, Og Yeryeon returns to her body but has no memory of the last two years (the two years the fl took over og Yeryeon’s body). I’m guessing Og Eunwoo returns as well.
The brother life is so fucked I would just die if I was in his position like finding out, the parents who raised him are not related to him at all and therefore he’s not related to his hyper competent sister, he lost his legitimacy and so he lost his job, the person who was the love of his life used and threw him away and he has cancer and is going to die. Like I wouldn’t be surprised if he rejects the organ donation because what does he have left to live for? Like my god the curse of the Og!ML has never been never been this strong before. I’m so glad he is a fictional character in a fictional story in a fictional story because I can’t have him suffer this much please hurry up and show me him being a actor and therefore ok
