I just started skipping at some point, these authors can’t do plot without ages of emotional torture porn (and actual torture porn) first
It's a given that when you're reading BL that you're going to read some form of torture porn, but it's usually mixed with atleast some other plot elements that make you somewhat root for the couple. It felt like for atleast ~40 chapters all I was getting was Garam being forced and used for sex. What was the romantic pay-off? The top cleaning his hole for sex? So sweet ♡... No, but honestly, first half of the chapters is just straight up torture porn with no other plot than that and skipping some of them would've changed nothing about someone's understanding of the BL.
Genuinely started this off just sighing for 45 chapters straight... Until it got REALLY good imo... Definitely worth the read if you can sit through 45 chapters of semi-agony (i was begging Garam to leave him from behind my screen )
