Agreed. He won't even listen to her side of the story. He is just as vile as his captors. It drives me crazy how FL still holds feelings for him, despite how much of a scumbag he is.
There was a similar story to this. The difference is FL had more spine and ML, while mostly an asshole, would literally die for her sake. The character development was done well. ML came to love her to the point he restored her entire kingdom and her throne.
If that FL met this one, she would probably slap her across the face and chide her for her meek, childish behavior, and holding out feelings for scum.

ML goes from total asshole to kinda asshole, but the reason why meh is tolerable is because of the way he changed and why he changed.
FL has her dignity. There are times she waffles in her feelings toward ML even when he is an asshole, but she slowly becomes an even stronger person.
As FL becomes a stronger person, ML becomes less of an asshole.
You will get pissed at certain points, I won't lie.
As I said, even chapter one of this FL would slap this ones for being so stupid. Toward the end? Maybe a kick in the ovaries.
