the characters in these felt a little TOO real if yk what i mean. like i would react/think smth in my head about the plot and the characters would somehow say the exact thing im thinking in the next panel.

This is actually based on a true story. As realistic as it can get. It hit me so hard because I relate to some parts of it as part of the lgbtq. The struggles, the longing for genuine connection and then finally meeting that one who truly gets you and supports you. It's heartwarming

But it shows how one person can misunderstand someone's intentions if you don't properly communicate. Tho idk if they did talk entirely about it in the end, but that's just me maybe )

You probably already read it but this will always be my comfort bl. I think it covers so many important topics like homophobia and internalized homophobia. It’s also written by a gay man so I think that’s why it feels so realistic.
