Why is everyone in this story always making decision for Dan? JK does it and now Granny when she wants him to go back to Seoul. Dan needs to rest and process everything. He is losing his grandma slowly. He is depressed. The poor guy does not need to go back to Seoul. He wants to be there for Granma. Let him ffs!

She's gonna die and she noticed how unhappy Dan is. He's only there for her. What other reason would he stay there for? Himself? He's a city kid. Jae assumes Dan's into it. Now he possibly sees the he's not.

Dan isn't only there for her. It's also for him! He wants to be there for her until the end. I don't think he would be fine with Granma dying while he's away in Seoul. I just don't see it. It's a completely normal thing to do when your parent is about to go. You want to be there because there's so little time and you love them. It's better clear to be that Dan loves her... Maybe more than himself.

Dan isn't doing well because he's losing her, he's alone, he owes money to an abuser.. And his life has been rough for a while now. I don't really see how going to Seoul is going to make him magically better lol

    ... Especially not with JK!

That's just my opinion. I guess The author is going to make him leave and Granny will pass anyway D:

He's not there for him. It's what we wish, but he's not. It was his grandmother's final request to him. That's why he's there. Who knows? Maybe he'll stay for his own sake and no longer for others!

It also doesn't necessarily has to be parents :)!

He doesn't know this (I think a good handful of people know this), but he actually isn't in debt to Jae. What Jae did was out of freewill. But he played along seeing that how he'll be close to Dan that way.

He didn't leave Jae because of "Abuse!" and "Torture!", he left because he felt rejected. And who could stay with someone who rejects your feelings/confession?

Indeed... Though I do think they'll reconcile before Granny dies! That's my hope.
