Omg usually I'm pretty harsh on the sh!tty dad gets a redemption trope (thanks to Claude lmfao I hate that mf) but like....AAAAAAAA the misunderstandings were so delicious the angst was just right tbh i understand why the dad protected her the way that he did (he clearly adored her right from the beginning of her birth but circumstances prevented him from showing it) but I dont think he was 100% right lol so it made me suuupeer happy when I found out:
