I felt so bad for Karel through the entire read, i understand Sasha faced a lot of suffering but Karel sacrificed so much just for the love he had for him! Julian deserved better from both of them but at the end of the day as a friend/brother sometimes stepping aside saves you a world of hurt! If he didn’t interfere by telling Sasya “as long as you stay useful to Karel I’ll keep you around/sponsor you”! I feel their love wouldn’t have been tainted by the fear Sasya had! All I know is this was a tough read! My girl Duchess strong AF cuz she lost both her husband and the man she loved to Sasya! But she still helped him and showed him love to the end! Glad she found love for herself! I’m honestly still on the fence about my feelings for Sasya, I think he was selfish and so horrible to Karel and I know he might have his reasons but they just don’t seem valid enough for all Karel had to deal with because of him! But alas, they are in love and happy…I’m happy for them! ╮(￣▽￣)╭
