TBH the plot in this is not well done. The politics of the two countries are barely explained ? Trovancha seems to be an independent nation but a king form Neighbouring country just came and decieded to marry a woman from there without talking to anyone prior ??? Also, how did the king just randomly come to another country especially when it's shown that Trovancha does not like the empire ? No one from the host country watching him ?? Just one knight from his own country????
I know this is a romance novel and I should expect much in terms of indepth political plot but sometimes I get frustrated because these plot holes just randomly strike me and pull me out of my immersion. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
On a positive note , I love Liliana and I love that she is still a child. She moody, picky, naughty and cries when small things don't go her way.
Tbh I feel like they did that on purpose cause they thought the story shouldn’t revolve to much about the surrounding and rather the main character and her close circle. Doesn’t mean that it would still be nice if we got some world building lore and they could fill the plot holes
