perry on the other hand, is way more composed and strategic. she just handles things with intelligence and grace, which makes her feel more mature. so, calling perry "basic" is kind of ridiculous, considering she brings a level of depth unlike your melissa and the others who's still a bunch of kids.

Melissa has a lot of charisma imo she's the type of character you can't help but like and enjoy reading about and root for. (Or at least that's how she appeared to me) and it's the same with Deborah, Firentia, and Aria as well I really enjoy watching them grow and thrive

With Perry I said she felt bland to me as in like idc about her story and idc about watching her getting together with the ML lol even the romance just doesn't do it for me tbh but I did enjoy the family hence why I stayed. Not saying that it's bad just not for me. She's "mature" yeah and "graceful" sure but in the end she just didn't appeal to me lol she felt like vanilla as in i still enjoy it and I'll still eat it but it's not an ice cream flavor i would say is my favorite.
