I don’t actually think he ever was a «good guy». She never showed interest in him, but he kept overstepping his boundaries. The fact that she wasn’t interested in him at all is what made him obsessed, and she literally saw through that.
He was playing an innocent act and acting all angel, suger and everything nice, basically putting on a fake persona to be liked. She gagged him and then he was like «ou, I want that and I’m gonna have that».
Like fuck him fr, I hate people who push others boundaries and pretend they just wanted to be nice meanwhile they didn’t really do it to be nice, but just fulfill their own interests or curiosity.
Ofc his family and his upbringing can be an reason that her act that way but never an excuse. Saying that is like taking the responsibility away from the person so they won’t take accountability. It’s like when people excuse their actions on their mentall illness.
It’s very harmful cause it just make it seem like it’s okey for them to continue since «it wasn’t really their fault». Which I can see some part of it, be he is a grown man and he should know better, like comon. I know multiple people who have had an upbringing not to their favor but they still act right.
He is not a good choice. A man who can't control his life is no good. His mother entirely controls his life. I will never forget how she sent her in the maid clothes. The Mc will never chose him and she is right. He needs to let her go. She didn't give him any false hope and he is a freak and disgusting. I get that he is humble, he is handsome, he is sm1 who can make her happy IF she LOVED him... But she didn't. He will ruin her life through wanting to hurt Beomjin.
no I wasn’t saying that his family was an excuse i was just using that as another factor of why it probably wouldn’t work out. and im mostly talking about when they were in highschool bc he definitely isn’t a good person now.
like to be fair, she wasn’t even acknowledging the concept of love back then so i wouldn’t say she would have totally shot him down in the beginning. and he definitely did everything with good intentions back then. again this is a character so we can only rely on our interpretations of their personality based on the things we have seen.
