maybe it’s a cultural thing, in my country we call shawarmas, kebabs lol.
Ah so that's how! Because here (where I live) people call the meat pieces on skewer as kebabs and the one stuffed with veggies and bread as shawarma. So I got confused when author called shawarma kebab.
We call both of them kebab here it’s so confusing sometimes hahaha
my turkish side has so many different “kebabs” like there’s kiyma kebab and alinazik kebab and they look completely different ╥﹏╥
