Is it just me or..

I don't know if it's just me or if others also have the same perception but it's quite easy for me to tell them apart because of the general atmosphere coming off their characters. MC gives off a tentative, guilt-ridden yet helplessly infatuated atmosphere while ML gives off the cunning, psychopathic yet enigmatic vibe. Even their dialogues carry their vibe because of their way of speaking and word choices. ML's lines almost always have double meanings to them, or at least, lines that could be interpreted in multiple ways, while MC's reflect his inner conflict and pessimism.

I don't know if it's just because I've been reading novels way before I got into manga/manhwa, or because I'm a literature major but either way, the difference between them are clear to me. I hope someone feels the same way (;;;・_・)
