Well if the patient insists they allow it but there is normally supervision from afar and have to stay in the boundaries
I know other plot stuff happened but I got knocked out the story by the nurse just allowing an unrelated person who doesn't work for the hospital to take charge of a patient like that?? Maybe its a cultural difference???
Where I am they don't even let family move patients around until discharged, for "liability" reasons.
