That aside, Kim Dan is already in a depressive state even before meeting jaekyung. It probably became severe after separation with Jaekyung. And on another note, I'm glad jaekyung was there even if he still doesn't realize his mistakes, I'm glad kim dan doesnt have to reach major depressive disorder.
Ive seen many patients as a nurse who has continuous drinking, smoking, sleep walking, insomniac, depressive thoughts are really signs of depressive people. They can't think of ways escape reality, instead they use smoking, alcohol, etc to calm their minds... Also, withdrawal with these vices after doing it a lot for years will be hard for him. He might have to go through therapies to become his usual self again. BUT I do think the sex (it's completely okay to rely with sex to release emotions/distress) will also somehow be connected to Dan's recovery in sleepwalking, alcoholism and smoking?? Like jinx or Kim Dan's jinx? Lol
