I think it’s a disturbing observation in the community. Especially given the fact, that most are pro-liberal values and respect the ideas of consent and so on but will form arguments to justify rape, even when it’s in fiction, such justifications will be carried into the “real world.”
People would advise someone in the MC position to run away from his abuser, especially if he was broke and ugly. But this is just insanity.
