Well i appreciate the small changes the author puts in every panel. I prefer it like that anyway rather than a massive head turning development. I just couldn’t fathom people expecting huge changes from JK when it has only been a few chapters since season 2 started. Plus, it is a fiction manhwa, it will never be that serious for me.
I don’t care what y’all say! This chapter is GOOD. Yes, Jaekyung is still a blockhead and thinks with his dick, but he’s showing interest in Dan’s life and even some sympathy (ever since he saved Dan from drowning when he was on his way to the hospital). He’s definitely gentler compared to Season 1, and though we don’t hear him say or think it outright, his actions and facial expressions speak for him, especially when he’s concerned about Dan being distraught and taken interest in Dan. (Also, the way he imagines Dan smoking is CUTE) but the jinx excuse and wanting Dan so that he could be champion again really gtg its getting REPETITIVE & LAME!
That said, I have no idea what to expect now that Granny asked Jaekyung to bring Dan back to Seoul. But seeing Dan like this, even in the countryside with Granny around, truly breaks my heart. And I think, Mingwa is gonna let Dan hit rock bottom (as if he’s not already in a living hell), what’s happening now is just the start. Poor Dan, come to Papa
