Holy molly oO That's one hell of a plot twist. Thanks for translating that part. I figured something was off with all the mystery and stuff. I thought the guy was the big boss of the CIA I couldn't be more wrong. I came here to complain about Gren being officially dead. I still had a doubt up until today's update. Well, I guess is just the two of them and no one else from now on

So at the end of the chapter it’s revealed that lady who was Jake’s boss is in cahoots with that senator who’s in cahoots with Ross and them.
She’s asking for a bigger slice of the pie for taking Jake off the mission.
The chapter ends with Jake seemingly overhearing his former boss’ talk with the senator.
