Tbh, Jaekyung wasn't the only one that contributed to his depression. His whole life was shit in general, I would be tired as well if I had to work to pay my grandma's bills
Dans life kinda sucks with or without JK. Also, i think the heavy-smoker reveal was made to imply that he has a history of turning to substances when hes having a hard time (this is not me being JK apologist, im just saying)
I really hope that it'll be adressed in the future that Dan literally became an alcoholic due to Jaekyung fucking up his life. Chasing arc should be just a castration
