Came here after watching the 8th ep of the anime and honestly, while I def understand why they didn't show how the priest and tank died, the way they changed Simon's end really bothered me because it felt so out of character for Yuke? Like, it was just so unnecessarily cruel to basically make him suffer for eternity (even though he did some pretty shitty things), while here in the manga his end was similar but so much more peaceful and Yuke's reasoning and sentiments were so very different compared to his anime counterpart.
Idk, I like the anime, but that one thing really rubbed me the wrong way and I honestly wish they'd kept to the manga in this case.
