I DON'T MIND THAT IT'S RUSH, IF I WERE IN THEIR POSITION I WOULD TRUST THE MC TOO, ESP IF HE'S SHOWING A GIVE AND TAKE BELIEF... I MEAN??? WE'RE IN A DESPERATE SITUATION TO SURVIVE, I WOULD HOLD ONTO ANYTHING THAT CAN LOOKED LIKE A SALVATION... (tho if I'm being honest, if this happened irl, I would just kms so that i wouldn't have to go through hell, if I'm ded already, then I can just chill in the afterlife)
Plus the pacing imo need to be fast cuz if they level up slow, a lot of time will be wasted and they won't find any survivors at all... Plus the mc need to rush things cuz he needs to save his family, so i genuinely think the pacing is just right.
