I hope that isn’t the case. It would be so sad for both of them. I wonder if they will separate again, but find each other in the modern world? However, it would be nicer (in my opinion) if they could live out their days before finding each other in the modern age.
even if they do reconcile, he's prob gonna keep jumping through time. & the next time he does he's just gonna be back to his own timeline as if it never happened in the first place. i really hope i'm wrong & it's just a big happy ending (/TДT)/
