Ash has the mentality to make Ash take his own initiative to communicate, because maybe he believes Ash need to build confidence in their relationship.
Ash seems to forget that for Lyle, this is his first serious relationship, and with Lyle's personality, it would be difficult to ask him to express his negative emotions.
Ash kinda annoys me because he knew that Lyle would be worried about Hazel but rather than explaining it and reassuring Lyle he prefered to make Lyle ask about it(also he knows Lyle isn't the type to just ask about it and he'd worry by himself) , idk, i mean it's your ex, your past Why does Lyle has to ask about it? And it's your friends who came to our house and make a commotion about it, so i'd obv think you owe me an explanation
