Honestly couldn't care less that they like those stories BUT it shouldn't be something to be proud of, let alone hype about it around people who don't read that stuff. It doesn't matter if it's a bl, gl, straight romance or just psychology manhwa. Usually when people liked that grape stuff they would just quietly see it as a controversial thing they like but nowadays people (even KIDS) search for more like it's the only thing that makes "their heart flutter" when they read stories that contain noncon stuff.
I seriously agree.. there's so much of in bl, its seriously weird. A lot with "justify" it by saying it's a psychological genre, or maybe because it's "essential to the plot", and maybe it unfortunately is, to even begin making a story like that in the first place is disgusting..

To an extent okay i can understand if it’s psychological (albeit its sad that authors need to include rape just because it has a psychological tag in it ???) i mostly hate them in romance genre. Like rape is NEVER EVER needed for the plot development. And its so annoying because some of these people go to fluff mangas and be like “this is so boring” OH SORRY. This doesn’t have rape ???
And the way its so concentrated in bls is just NUTS. Its like consent doesnt exist anymore
