It’s because in Korea they take their health very serious. The author of this story has a bad shoulder and it got worse so she is recovering.

Because they work too much and don't take enough breaks, so in the end they hurt themselves. There are Japanese artists who have died from overwork (something that is unfortunately common in Japan). Although there has recently been a little improvement in artist breaks, it's still insufficient and I doubt that mentality will change in the short term.
