Ive seen some speculating that he is similar to Sisyphus from the Greek Myth, who wished to found his own kingdom (he did), cheated death (we see the ML awakening from the rubble) and was punished by carrying a boulder at the top of a hill only for it to fall when he reaches the top? It was an endless cycle. We see how the ML lacks basic social skills and education, perhaps he is the god's incarnate, and we also see the big boulder on that mountaintop he took our MC at. He cannot regulate his feelings.
Either that or he has got some sort of mental disorder.

Tbh the Sisyphus comparison might be right. I can't help but feel for the guy. He's like a big friendly dog that doesn't quite understand his strength. "One must imagine Sisyphus happy" is a quote that kinda scares me moving forward lol. The other shoe is gonna drop at some point and I don't think I'm ready
love the pacing it’s really good as expected frm this author but when he started crying…that threw me wayyy off he has to be manipulating
