Yea you'd be surprised how skewed Japanese people's perspectives are when it comes to cheating. It's so normalized in their country and it favors a lot towards men. If someone with a partner has sex with someone else even outside of marriage and it's just purely casual and physical then they don't consider it as cheating

But now it makes a lots of sense, I came across a lot of this situation mostly in Japanese mangas (Straight, BL though rarely on GLs) and I'm always bothered by how casual the characters are to sleep with someone they know are already in a relationship, also those annoying second male lead tryna pursue the MC, knowing that he/she already in a relationship instead of staying awaaaay

So the uke (mistakenly knew) that the actor is dating that chic but still chose to sleep with him despite knowing that (although I know it's a misunderstanding) ... I mean if you were so sure he's dating someone why would you still sleep with that person? I am questioning his morals ...
Is it natural for japanese people to still engage in sex even knowing someone is already in a relationship?
