I disagree on him not taking it seriously. When he took the time to think about it and agreed to officially date the ML, he took that seriously. Especially once he realized he really was in love with him. Him not believing it would last doesn’t automatically mean it wasn’t serious for him. It’s really before they got to that point that he was thinking of it lightly.

It sucks to see this situation, but honestly Dohu needed the break up. He was already in love but didn't take their relationship seriously due to already deeming it temporary. Now they have the chance to continue with a fresh start.
